Which is better, Xanax or Klonopin?

Which is better and takes effect quicker; Xanax or Klonopin?

And no I'm not trying to get high

Well a couple years ago i was prescribed

Xanax and Klonopin.

honestly, i prefer xanax.

in my opinion it works faster and calms me more.

but when i was on klonopin it worked,

but i prefer xanax

Xanax. its stronger than Kolonopin but also harder to get prescribed because of the fact that it is so intoxicating. people sell the 2mg xanax bars, illegally, for $5 each.

try chasing a xanax with 3 or 4 beers and you wont remember anything you did the next morning. everyone you encountered will though.

It depends on what you are treating for. Xanax is mainly used to treat anxiety disorder and anxiety associated with depression. Klonopin is more for panic attacks,periodic leg movements during sleep, Parkinson's disease, acute manic episodes, nerve pain, and schizophrenia.

In principle, most psychiatrists prefer Klonopin for treating anxiety and panic, in part because it stays in your system longer and doesn't give you the ups and downs of Xanax.

In the real world, one person may do better with Xanax and another with Klonopin, so there's no always-right answer.
