Which is better, box color or color from a salon store?

What is the difference between a store bought box color set and purchasing color from a salon supply store?

Is one better than the other?

Salon store dye is always better, but can be rather confusing to use.  Box dye is just fine really, I wouldn't waste your money on salon dye unless you're getting it done at a salon which will give you the very best results by far.

i personally use store bought box color, cause it is cheaper, and it does work.

but it kind of destroys your hair.

the salon supply store kind would be more "top notch" and will hurt your hair still, as will any thing u do to your hair, but it shouldnt be as harsh.

i dont think theres that much of a difference but salon color might have better quality than box color

Salon color is stronger and better then store bought stuff.

Especially if you are trying to go from dark hair to blonde.

i dont think there is muchhh of a difference. box ones may fade a little more than stuff from the salon. but not much difference. ive died my hair numerousss times and i always use box color. and it works fine for me.
