Which is better, liquid or powder foundation?

Should it be two shades lighter than your skin, since concealer is supposed to be a shade darker? Which one goes over the concealer better???

I like powder cuz its way easier to spread and usually takes off pretty easy! liquid is messy and is harder to spread and put on!

get it to match your skin exactly cuz u dont want your face to look really pale or the whole tanned face white body look =]

if your skin is oily use powder and if its dry use liquid, i usually put on liquid and then dab powder over the top to keep it in place and lasting longer.

I use powder, if you're trying to cover up a blemish or zits I would suggest you use liquid though. I think you should just get a shade lighter, you don't want to look like a ghost or make it look unnatural. As long as you really get the concealer mixed in well I think it should be find to use powder.

powder glides on and provides better coverage, but just a note, all my friends who use 2-way cake style powders get bad acne coz it clogs the pores and prolonged use makes it difficult to remove. I prefer liquid ones and light powder over or loose powder.

LIQUID!!! POWDER MAKES IT CAKED ON!

okay-this is what you should do when you put on your make up:

1 wash your face

2 put a FACE moisturizer on

3 put the concealer on where you need it then...

4 this is important so listen- use ONE SHADE lighter of foundation       and before you put the foundation on the sponge (use a sponge) get the sponge wet and squeeze the extra water out then put the foundation on

5 now powder this give you a porcelain face! take the powder that is the same shade of your skin color and put it aall over your face

6 then do eyeliner. this should be used with an eyeliner brush. put it under some water, shake it out, and dip it in blak or dark brown eyeshadow and put it on your eyes

7 now eyeshadow. i like to use black. or sometimes white but put that on

8 mascara- put two coats on but make sure you let it dry in between! then put it on just the roots and the outer corner of your eyes.

9 now this is my little secret. this is a beauty secret that makes your eyes POP! take some shimmery white eyeshadow and put it on the inner corner of your eyes spreading it around just a little under your eyes and a little on the top.

10 if you want something fancy then put a little stick on diamond on the inner and outer corner of your eyes

11 lips lipstick and clear lipgloss in the middle of your lips or foundation on your lips and blend it in all around your lips and on them and then some light or clear lipgloss over your lips.

now you should look BEAUTIFUL!!!

liquid can be messey so get a brush to apply it or a makeup sponge but i defenetly like liquid because it covers better and looks more natural. i like cover girl true match

To tell you the truth I put on liquid foundation to even out my skin tone, and then powder over it to make it look not so shiny and greasy
