Which is better, tactical vest or chest rig?

I wanted to get some chest protection for when I airsoft but I don't know what to get, a tactical vest or chest rig. When I get some extra mags, I know that a tac vest is really helpful but yet again, chest rigs have pockets also. I don't know what to choose. Which is better?

for all of us cheapos ot there who don't want to spend money on something so unnessecary, which is bot a tac vest and a chest rig, pockets are there for a reason. front pockets, backpockets, cargo pockets, are all big enough for mags, bbs, a belt bakes a good holser for any pistol. it works, thats how i play

Tactical Vests have the pouches fixed in place..chest rigs have movable pouches. I think I like the chest rig because you can move the pouches to suit your needs.

Also the tactical vest in many cases have more nylon around your chest so that they are hotter.

If there is a down side to a chest rig the price of the rig and pouches can is more than a tactical vest.
