Which is better 'JVC Everio 30GB Hard Disc Drive Camcorder or SONY SR1 HDD?

personally i do like sony because of they're reliability. but id go for the better priced, larger hardrive thingy and better looking camcorder

one of my friends has the JVC and he said it's kinda hard to control and everything, plus for somereason his often shuts down and screws up his videos

so id actually get sony, but not just cuz of the name

and my friend said it seems really slow, compared to my sony (its not the sr1 hdd)

If they had the same specifications, I would choose for the best priced and the bigger Harddisk.

But, after some research, I have found out the JVC has  serious management and picture quality setbacks.

Some reviewers even think this model should never be released as is.

Considering this, I have to say that at least with the Sony Your money will not be wasted...
