  1. if you owned a derby winner that horse would be very good

so it would probly win a near 50 races a season

    including a few big races

so if u had a derby winner u would most likley have

    a 50 winner too

  2. Own a Derby winner.  The Epsom Derby is the most prestigous race in the world (regardless of what the Americans say!)  and everyone wants to win it.  It is the original Derby, every other race that carries the same name is just a copy.  Some of the best horses to ever grace the turf have been Epsom Derby winners and to join the role of only 228 (229 after today) names that have owned a Derby winner would be a chance in a lifetime.

On the other side, the financial upside to owning a Derby winner is huge.  You could stand the horse at stud yourself and reap the rewards of his covering fee, or if you are lucky someone with plenty of money may come along and offer to buy the horse from you.  It is reported that Sheikh Mohammed paid around £16million for last years Derby winner Authorized.

  3. depends if you are a breeder

  4. own a Derby winner, you may only get the chance once.

  5. that depends....... if the derby winner is a stallion his stud earning potential is huge, and from a financial point of view this would be my choice. but if he is a gelding he has no future stud potential in which case i would prefer 50 winners in a season!
