  1. grass is miles better for preventing injury, but if you want a good quality effort then you would run slightly quicker on road.  I'd choose grass though

  2. go with the grass it is softer and easier on your body as well. if it is hot out side where you are it will also be a lot cooler on the grass.. SO GO GREEN TODAY

  3. It is better when possible to train on a soft surface. Grass is much better than the road. It will be better on your joints and feet.

  4. Grass is better for your joints. The shock load of the road can end up in slow injuries like shin splints after a while.

  5. i would say concrete... but if the grassey area isnt too bumpy then go for it. but whenever i run on grass it makes my feet bend all over the place cause the ground is so uneven

  6. grass. the concrete is much harder on your joints and knees.

  7. i'd say grass.

it's easier on your legs, it doesn't pound down like the pavement does.

if you have leg problems, injuries, go on the grass.

grass, especially if it's a long run.

  8. grass is kinder to your feet

  9. on the grass because if you run on the road then you can get this thing called stone bruise in your heel and it hurts A LOT!

  10. -Basically grass is much better cause it is softer causing less strain on joints. but make sure it is all even throughout the way and well cut (not too long)

-BUT if you expect rains, or wet grass then go for the road , cause it will be slippery. u will not fall but will waste energy when your feet slips a little at the end of each step (i.e. no firm grip on the ground)...hope i explained this well.

    - Also if your shoes are good shock absorbents then both trails will be the same.

    good luck

  11. grass
