Which is better? Blackberry Curve 8330 or the 8830?

Question

My 15 yr old son needs to decide between the two...he does day trading so he needs something with a good internet connection and business functions, but also something "fun" to use.

which would be better for that?

(also, the reason it is between these two is because i use Verizon)

First off, I am impressed that your son does day trading at 15! That is cool ;-)

I, too, would recommend the Curve 8330. Internally the devices are pretty similar as far as the functions they can do. However, the keypad of the Curve 8330 is better (in my opinion). You also get a camera with video recording capabilities. And the size and shape of the device are a plus as compared to the 8830 (again, my opinion). The Curve 8330 also supports MMS messaging (picture messages) whereas the 8830 does not (on Verizon's network).
