Vokey's are $10 more expensive. They seem heavier and eat up the ball from my experience. Cleveland look better at address for me, but I like the feel of the Vokey.

What do you use?

  1. Have a Vokey 52 degrees, a Titleist pitching wedge which is part of the iron set and an 845 sand wedge. The mechanic uses these tools rather well for an old duffer.

  2. vokeys (best in the game next to callaway mac daddy)

  3. feel is the major factor . i am old guy carry five wedges for years. of the 5 there are three different brands . the negative about spin grooves . if you play a muni golf course . you will not recieve full benfit of stop ability . due to fairway grass . green texture . high spin grooves wear faster . need regoving 2 times a year . if you want to save noney , all major golf outlets carry groove cutters . they will make spinners out of any wedge, i have one along with 50 plus used wedges . all hit hop 3 feet every time . om muni courses . i do have vokey spin milled . tried it . less spin than regroved wedges . use feel golf lob wedge, 64 degree lob wedge  private yuppie course vokey . and hogan 62 bent to 64 . less bounce is why . still hit hop 3 feet . never bought new wedge yet .

  4. Depends on how you use your wedges. If you like more spin and feel on short shots around the green definitely go for the Titleist Vokey Spin Milled. I use them, got them in 54 and 60. I love my lob wedge, very fun hitting flop shots from 40 yards in.
