Which is better; Compaq Presario V2000 or Dell Inspiron 1525?

I already have a Compaq Presario V2000 laptop and I'm looking to buy a Dell Inspiron 1525, though I'm wondering will it be an upgrade? Is the Dell Inspiron a better laptop then the one I currently have?

Definately technology wise dell inspiron is far better than you currently have..You can go for dual core or core 2 duo model as per your requirements...
