Which is better: Garmin or Tomtom GPS?

I'm looking at a garmin nuvi and a tomtom go - but need help deciding.

I like the Garmin better - my brother has it. I like the layout and options better.  My husband has Tomtom and likes it - you can switch languages (don't know about on Garmin) which he likes, but we had to send it in for repairs after only 3 months - the voice just quit.

MY FATHER AND BROTHER BOTH USE THE gARMIN NUVI AND THEY HAVENT HAD ANY TROUBLE WITH IT... NO COMPLAINTS

Garmin is king when it comes to GPS.

Gamin nüvi has better ratings than most other GPS systems. They work well and are pretty easy to use.
