Which is better? High school or college?

Question

I say COLLEGE! Had my first class today (though still a senior in hs) AWESOME! People are so much more independent. I like it.

Which did/do you like better? Why?

College.  It gets rid of the people who HAVE to be there.  Instead, you are surrounded by people who WANT to be there.  And after a year or so you don't have to worry about underage drinking or s*x with minors.

highschool was all about who was popular.  College is all about partying and networkking.... so my choice was by far COLLEGE BABY YAH :P

In high school my parents made me go, so I had no choice than to graduate. High school was free. I didn't have to pay for classes or books. In college you have to pay hundreds of dollars for classes, then you have to pay hundreds of dollars for books. There is also no one on your back about going, so you could easily drop out and not finish. So, I never thought I would say this, but high school is better.

College for sure,I can't wait to head for college because I'm planning to study aboard & I can't wait to leave this d**n boring country that I've been trapped in ever since I weas born!!

Other reasons also include the fact that in college people are much more mature & independent.Also in college you're studying the subjects you picked & like yourself.What can I say? It just feels great talking about it =]

I like hs better, but I just have had a week of college classes so far, so I cant really say which one is best yet...

Yes, college is much better. There's no comparison. One goes to high school, because they are forced to, and once they are there, there is no escape (at least, not without repercussion). One goes to college, because they WANT to be there, and can leave at any time.

college by a long shot. I hated high school. I moved from queens new york to new hampshire in the middle of it and didnt fit in at all, and the stupid hicks there made me aware of it. people are more catty and annoying in high school. plus in college you can make your schedule however you want (I have no classes before 11:30am) and you dont have a curfew or a bunch of dumb c**p rules to follow.

college becasue everyone has relized they have to be more mature and stop s******g around tons of new ppl and you have very huge chances of not seeing ppl that disturbed you in hs
