Which is better I.E or firefox?

ok so i use internet explorer but i heard that firefox is so much better as a web browser so im thinking about downloading it. On the site it says it comes with a google toolbar but i already have a google toolbar so having 2 would be pointless. Or do i uninstall my internet explorer? I'm confused what to do...im not so advanced when it comes to computers so can someone please tell me the advantages and or the disadvantages of firefox and what happens to my internet explorer if i download it?

I prefer FF over IE because it's more secure and has alot of 3rd party plugins like AdBlock Pro that blocks annoying ads.

Nothing will happen to Internet Explorer, you just won't have to suffer through using it anymore!

Firefox is faster, way more secure, and updated more frequently than IE.

Don't worry about the google thing, just download FF and you'll see for yourself.

No you don't uninstall it, you can have and use both, and you can choose not to install google toolbar, when you go to install firefox.

I don't know any disadvantages to firefox compared to IE, but firefox is faster for me

You can have multiple web browsers so there is no harm in downloading firefox. Some claim that it is faster but I personally like Internet Explorer.

In Internet Explorer, nearly everything has been created by microsoft, and the only things available for the base version of IE are things that Microsoft's designers found desirable in a browser.

online, you can find tons of awesome little additions that people have made for Firefox, everything from dictionaries, to translators, to security programs.

So, at the end of the day, it depends on whether you are an email only, standard, business type user, or someone that would enjoy a ton of awesome tools in the browser.

nothing will happen to your IE justd ownload firefox and forget about IE firefox is 1000 times better and since i switched i have had no viruses or crashing of inter like i did with IE....so download it and enjoy.

Here we go again...everyone is gonna say "Firefox." I say that Internet Explorer is better. I know that a lot of people are going to give me thumbs down, but I don't care it is my opinion and it's not like Firefox can hear it and decide to die or something. Firefox is a great browser, but it is not faster or slower, they are ALL the SAME. It all really depends on your Internet connection speed. Well Firefox is a bit quicker, but i find I.E easier to use; especially if you have been using it before. Also, it looks nicer! :) Hope it helps.

your opening a can of worms asking the IE vs FF question, both are good as long as they are looked after, this means regular cleanouts of temp, cookie and history files (link below with more on this), do you actually need the google bar? if so just leave it on both, why not just have both installed and just use the one you find the best for you, never harms to have another browser installed in any case,

Your I.E google bar has NOTHING to do with the FFox bar.

FireFox is less cluttered, and has built in securities for your computer.   Its faster and more reliable.    if you get it you'll find is strange at first, but its so much better.

i am currently using Mozilla Firefox now.  it is much better in my opinion but is a matter of personal perference.  don't worry about the I.E.'s tool bar.  F/F also has add ons on personalize it to your liking.

worse comes to worst, you can always "back date" your computer or uninstall it if you don't care for it.

I.E. now has a lot of feature that F/F has but i still like F/F better and only use I.E. if i have to.  i also us Avant.
