Which is better: Ipod or Zune?

Question

Ok, so I want to get an MP3 player, but I don't know which one to choose! I will mostly be using it when I work out, or when I'm just sitting around bored, so it doesn't need to be fancy. Also, I just want about 4-8GB of space, nothing big. What I really want to know is which one works better, the difference between Itunes and Zune Marketplace, whether Itunes can be transferred to a Zune, and which one is more durable. Whatever is overall better. If you could help, that would be great! Thanks!

P.S. I don't care about price.

It's true that Apple (i-Pod) are pretty particular with their software. You can only us i-Tunes to sync stuff into it. But they do that for a reason. You i-Pod is much safer when it's disclosed to just an apple system PLUS i-Tunes is free anyway. It's not like they're telling you to pay for it. If you have a credit card then you can buy stuff off the internet or you can rip songs from your cds, or make downloads from limewire.

You said you'll probably is it to workout and an i-pod is perfect for that! They have this great Nike+i-Pod thing thta allow you to workout if you hav Nike shoes. (You can workout with an armband if you don't have Nike shoes)

Zune (I've google it now) looks pretty cool but i-Pod has the name and the quality.

So in the end- i-Pod wins (yay!)

And Oh- If you just want something to workout with and play with when you're bored- you could just get a mp3- cheaper and save your money!

But if you have to buy between zune and i-pod- then buy the i-Pod.

The zune is good, 8gb (cheaper then ipods) I had two ipods both broke because of some defect. Zune works great and easy to use also has built in radio. You can transfer songs from itunes straght into the zunes software and play the music

Ipods. They are just made better.  I have the touch but that is probably to big so just get a mini of a nano.  If you want video get a nano.  But even if you get a zune im sure you will be fine.

my sister just purchased an ipod.  It is ridiculously hard to use the darn thing.  I keep trying to click on the game or music option, and the thumb thing will either go past what I wanted to go to, or not go to it at all.  

i would recommend trying out both an ipod and a Zune.  Try Best Buy.

That's where we went.  I would definitely look into the Zune.

Get the ipod touch. it can listen to music surf the web and so many other cool things. it starts at $300 for an 8gig, $400 for a 16 gig and $500 for a 32gig. here is the link
