    kewra is screwpine essence, I think it is more limited but I have never tasted kewra cheesecake, ice cream, kewra lassi....I have tasted these with rose water and they are yummy!

  5. kewra is VERY strong - it ALmost overpowers the taste of the dish - rose water is much more subtle i believe, and so so much better n versatile
