Although, I know my best option would be a medium sized LCD with 1080p. Listen up tech nerds, I need your help! My hubby and I watch a lot of movies, shows, and we love to play our Wii, and maybe soon wish to purchase a Sony P3. I have heard left and right. What is the best choice and for what price?

  1. lcd 1080p full hd with hdmi inputs and if you like movies go with 120Hz.   You want the size to be half the distance of how far youwill be sitting from it.  I have a 46 inch tv and I sit 90 inches away.

  2. Full HD (means it has a tuner built in to receive HD signal) So I would get that.

LCD it better in bright situations (meaning less reflective if you have a lot of light coming in the room). Plasma's usually have deeper blacks.

For Video Games I would recommend LCD. (less likely to get burn in than plasmas)

Burn in is caused by a static image being on the screen for a longer period of time.  (you can see the outline of it when you turn the channel)

  3. if your going too play games than you should buy a lcd tv.the bigger the better.a 42 inch at least.games dont play well on a plasma tv.and they can ruin the tv.look in your local ads for differ ant prices. good luck and have fun.

  4. Ok, a 43' LCD, Full HD. Choose Samsung. They are a really good brand, and dont use Sony. They suck! They dont make the TV's. they use other companies to make TVs then they put they're name on the Tv.

  5. Go with LCD.  They are lighter, weigh less and you'll enjoy sharper pictures with video games.
