Cranfield seems to be more expensive than Newcastle University? Is it because of quality or job prospects?

  1. Newcastle is better. They are more founded in term of teaching, the tuition  is good, and the town is great and lots more...Moreover, Cranfield is just a beginner in PE. Goodluck!

  2. I agree that Newcastle Upon Tyne is a neat town to live in.

However, I have worked extensively with Newcastle University grads (one an ex-professor, and one a current professor), plus several with PhD's and Masters, and can assure you that the quality of their professors and grads is, to be generous, mediocre. This includes their verbal and writing skills (all are native English speakers), their scientific skills (granted they all have engineering degrees, but I expect engineers with graduate degrees to be able to design and interpret simple experiments), and their general technical knowledge.

Surely Cranfield must be better than these guys! Still, a lot of the quality of the education has to do with the individual, so you might still be able to get a decent education there.

  3. Both are excellent, but Cranfield is stronger in management studies
