  1. Having played both I would say rugby is a more action packed sport...Rugby is a great game and it is actually tougher sport.

So overall I would say Rugby is the better sport but i love both.

  2. I don't like football but I think football is better than rugby.I play waterpolo.

  3. Rugby of course, did you ever see a rugby player lying on the ground untill he got a free, rugby for men and soccer for the others

  4. football is better because rugby is a g*y man's game. in rugby other boys get to touch your *** or balls and iam saying this in experience. when u try tell them off they say thats wat they do everyday and that i hav got to get used to it

  5. Depends on what level mate. Rugby in my opinion is better because I have grown up playing it and it creates a much more disciplined culture than football.

In football there is too much violence off the pitch and way too much disrespect on the pitch to referees, etc.

However, football is a great game and the vast majority of supporters are fine, but watch any televised game and see the big, big difference in the crowd:

Rugby (Union specifically although League is almost the same) - opposing fans sit together and share a good banter, with one or two people occasionally letting the side down by being rude to opposing fans or players.

Football (watch the games on telly) - segregation as they are incapable of sitting together. They swear at players as they take corners or thrown-ins, the players swear at the refs, etc and the fans chant obscenities at the opposing team, fans, players, etc.

Neither game is better as it depends on your particular flavour, but the fans are much better at rugby than football.

  6. Rugby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

  7. rugby

  8. Football

  9. I prefer rugby (union of course) not that tick-rugby league.

Football is a g*y-boy's game, all that kissing after a goal and you only have to touch them (not even that in Ronaldo's case) and they go sprawling on the ground in agony (aw, diddums).

  10. Well, personally, I like both but not a real big fan of either, will watch big games, internationals etc.

Rugby fans are better behaved and far less violent than football fans. As to either being a g*y man's sport, really! LOL!

  11. Thats such a hard questions I'm an avid Liverpool fan but being from Wigan I love rugby as well so if I had to choose it would be the rugby usually more action

  12. Rugby for me. Even though I like to watch football as well.

  13. footballl

  14. I prefer to watch rugby (unless Brazil is playing) but prefer to play football. They are totally different kettles of fish though so hard to decide.

  15. god thats an easy one........FOOTBALL.

  17. That's a bit like  comparing Golf and Hockey two dif sports!

  18. you are the best to make your choice !

  19. Rubgy for me. Don't see alot of Soccer/Footbal over here in NZ. Infact, not all Football world cup games were live here where as in the RWC, One TV channel works its schedules around the RWC.

  20. Rugby is the better game.

Football's not too bad, but I grew up with Rugby.

Football - Go Liverpool and Celtic

    Rugby - Go ACT Brumbies

  21. Both

  22. Rugby, definitely. It is more fun to watch then a bunch of men poncing around after a ball.

  23. Football ofc.  Rugby is a g*y man's sport.

  24. Rugby!!! Its like comparing chocolates to spinach
