Which is better Sirius or XM sattellite radio?

It's just a personal preference really.  If you asking our opinion, then I like Sirius for a couple of reasons.  One is content.  Sirius really has what I want in one package, like Howard Stern.  Sirius is also the only one that doesn't use SBR in its audio stream.  This translates to a warmer sound without the grunge.  For those who can't really notice differences in sound, then the audio quality part really doesn't make much difference to them.  With that, then it really just boils down to content.  Each service lists channels and describes them well enough to give you an idea what's on them.

On another note:  A previous poster stated the incorrect amount for monthly service on Sirius.  The monthly price (before taxes) is 12.95.  The price for XM is also 12.95 monthly (before taxes).  Both have several plans to choose from.

I've got Sirius & LOVE it. Much better content then xm. Stern, Playboy, Lithium 24, Comedy channels. My sister-n-law had xm & her content wasn't any where close to that.

For the type of music i enjoy (Modern to late 90's rock) XM is much better. The XM modern music stations have much better music choices and less talk.

Also, XM is about 7$ cheaper if you buy per month (XM at 12.99 and sirius at 19.99)
