  1. The idea that the KJV is somehow "inspired" is ridiculous! It shows a total egocentricity. Is there an "inspired" version of the Bible in every language? Or are only the English speaking believers worthy of an inspired version? The "flowery language" was not flowery in 1611. It was common language. The KJV has convinced millions of people that "thou" and "thine" are holy words used when speaking to or about God. Also, those who prefer it, "Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house." What does it mean? "Keep your conversation pure" How about that? You need someone to translate it for you because it's not in your language.
