Which is better Waldameer park, or Darien Lake?

We are trying to find a good place to go. I have 4 sisters and my parents will be going also. Darien Lake is far away from us, I get scared very easily of big rides so I don't really think we should go to darien lake, but my sister wants to go there and refuses to go anywhere else. If you don't know what waldameer is it is has rides/water park and it has 5 rollercosters that I am not scared of and has a huge log ride and soo much more. Which one should we go to? How can I get us all to agree with waldameer? What else do they have at Darien Lake?

wow...you live close to erie pa then huh.... ya wally world sucks ***...if you go there more than once you seen it all. do to darien lake its a few hours but its worth it

Hi, Waldameer has two roller coasters and a children's roller coaster. The new roller coaster "Ravine Flyer II" is a large and VERY fast and steep roller coaster. Waldameer is a great family style amusement park that is cost effective and yet fun. You can get a combo pass to both the rides and water park for 22 dollars.

I have been to both but can not say which is better, it just depends on what you prefer. When going with younger children I prefer Waldameer but if you are looking for thrill rides you def. need to go to Darrien Lake. Keep in mind you will spend a lot more $ there however.

Um... I think that you should go to Darien Lake because they probably have other rides that you would like more. I use to not like huge rollercoasters but after I went on 1 now I love them.
