Which is better a better bike.?

Question

Now before you flame me, I must tell you that I HAVE to buy my bike at Walmart. I have a lot of credit there and have no use for them. I know I am better off elsewhere but I must buy it here.

I want a bike that is easy to go uphill, and not break if I jump a small curb (Like my old no-namer did). Here are the two choices:

if we really have to play by your rules, get the schwinn.  why? no rear suspension.  at this price point, everything is going to need frequent adjustments or repairs.  at least get a hard tail to eliminate that potential problem.   (r u sure you can't just use the walmart credit for groceries and get a real bike?  you can get a good used bike for $200 on craigs list.)

i think you'll be better off with the Schwinn. The rear shock on the Mongoose is garbage and only adds extra weight.

mongoose for sure.. i have one and its the best bike ive ever had ( ive had many bikes) !!!

The Schwinn will present much fewer problems.
