Which is better a boss ME-50 multi effects pedal or a LINE 6 pod x3 live and why?

I had the ME-50 for a couple of years. I grabbed an X3 about a week ago, just to hear for myself what it could do.

Both units are good. The simplicity of the ME-50 makes it a good choice and the effects and pedals are pretty good.

If you want multiple amplifier models at hand, however, the X3 is the winner. X3 is a bit more complicated to program and a bit more costly, but worth the effort and time if you really need all those amp models.
