Which is better alpine or mtx subwoofers?

alpine is mainly a head unit maker and mtx is mainly an amp and sub maker. So i would go with mtx for sure

preople are going to hack me to peices for this but brand is a state of mind. if you want to know which is better go to an audio store and listen to a demo for both and make your own descision. listen for cracks and pops and see which sounds better for the price your willing to spend. let your ear be your guide

the best Alpine subs are the type X series but they don't even come close to the MTXthunder9500's. the 9500's are competitors of the infamous JLw7's but cost less then the JL's.

i've installed the cheaper MTX thunder7500's and they still sounded like pro class woofers. $300 a woofer.

it all depends on the watts and ohms compare the 2 and take the better deal
