Which is better ? an enviromental biotechnologist or a quality control analyst.?

I want to go for my masters but i am confused, i want to be in the pharmaceutical/manufacturing industry but preferably the energy sector(Renewable energy) biofuel to be specific. i am very confused cos both fields are rigid , if you go into one you cannot pull out easily. please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
