Which is better an esp ltd 50 or something from jackson with the same price range?

i am looking for a guitar which is within my budget but is durable and reliable. i fell in love with the ec 50 but a friend told me that jackson are better and i don't know what to do right now! what do you think? the ec 50 has got good reviews

Guess you will be looking at a Jackson JS30DK Dinky HH

VS the ESP EC-50

Both good guitars for the price.

Both have average to good humbuckers

Jackson has a Floyd Rose

Really is a matter of comparing them side by side with your amplifier or a good amplifier.

You could always consider saving a little more & buying  second hand:

-Gibson Les Paul

-Burny

-Jackson (DK series or better)

- ESP (signature series)

- Greco (Les Paul copy)

- Ibanez (Artist or better)

Don't take to much notice of people's opinion's of what

is generically a better brand.

Each guitar needs to be assessed individually & you need

to be happy with the feel, sound & look - it's your guitar !

A good amp & upgraded pickups (SD or EMG's) will also make a HUGE difference to your sound.
