Which is better as a pillow filling - goose down or duck down?

I tend to sleep on my side or stomach and I'm looking for the best pillow to go with. Would like to avoid something which causes too many allergies too

If you buy QUALITY pillows, either one is GREAT.  Allergies are NOT from the feathers, but from the "stuff" left on them.  Properly cleaned waterfowl feathers are NOT allergenic.

If you are afraid of allergies, I wouldnt go for animal feathers at all!!!

I always use synthetic duvets, which are extremely comfortable and very light, and no animal had to suffer for it.

Just ask for "anti allergic fillings" or anti allergic duvets and you'll find lots. And they are really not expensive. They used to be, but now they are cheaper than feathers, but higher quality.

Neither.Cottonpads are the best stuff.Some Indian grasses are incredible!

goose down is known for its resilience, it won't mat nor crush as bad as some of the other feathers. but, if you've got allergies you should consider the other alternatives.
