Which is better ba maths or bsc maths?

No difference, in the UK at least - it just depends what the university in question chooses to call it.

Depends what you want to do with it.

Science needs math a lot more than art does, so I'd assume that for a lot of jobs, the BSC would be better.  Then again, a lot of people aren't too used to seeing BSC, so the BA may be more recognizable.

Arts degrees tend to be a little easier to get than science degrees, unless you're really good at science, so the BA might require fewer classes.
