  1. one is no better than the other and it does come down to the amp that is going to be used, but you do get more wiring options with a DVC sub (twice as many as a rule)


  2. dvc are better you can wire them at 2 ohms

There is no better or worse when comparing DVC to SVC subs.  The only difference between the two is wiring options.  Because DVC subs have two voice coils it allows for more wiring options.  That is the only difference between the two.  There is going to be no audible difference between DVC and SVC.  

    If you are trying to decide on a DVC or a SVC sub your choice should come down to what amp you are planning to use.  But do not choose based on one being better than another.
