  1. Jamaica is better.  There is not alot to do in Nassau, and it isn't as pretty as the Jamaica route.

  2. I would definetly say Jamaica. You could drive over the bahamas in half a day...You would probably run out of things to do. Jamaica, although it is also a small island there is tons of things to do. There is so much history and the excursions are phenominal! Enjoy!

  3. I would go to Jamaica.  I took a three day cruise to the Bahamas  once, and I was not impressed with Nassau.  As soon as you got off the ship, you had people trying to get your money.  I mean they were fierce.  We had one guy walk up to us, and force bracelets onto my childrens wrists, and got mad when I would not pay for them.  I have not been to Jamaica, but I would be willing to try, and see how they are.  I have bee warned that at Ocho Rios you need to be careful where you go.  I would get all of the information from the cruise line that I could.  Probably better off booking any excursions through the ship as well.  I have never done this anywhere else, but I have been told by people that they have nearly gotten stranded because private tour operators would not return them to the ship without them paying several hundred dollars first.  However, with a little wisdom and care I have also been told that Ocho Rios can be one of the nicest spots to visit in the Caribbean.   Just not convenient for us to get to from Port Canaveral or Tampa.

  4. I would say Jamaica unless you have lots of money and want to spend day at Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island in Nassau Bahamas.  That is something everyone needs to see and has something for people of all ages.  Whether you are single adults or travelling with kids, Atlantis is a great place to see.
