  2. If you can afford a Mac, GO FOR IT.

On the other hand, I'm cheap and I am stuck on this piece-of-c**p PC.... *sigh*

  3. I have a pc. They are more user-friendly.

  4. A PC is better, Mac's have software that most schools don't have, making writing reports and etc harder. Also, if you have technical problems, PC's are more "common" so asking your friends for help is easier...Hope I helped!

  5. ok well I'm a teen and this will help

    My opinion -

I have the HP pavillion Dv6000 wonderful machine lol it has a built in web cam (it came with the software for mostly everything even the camera stuffz with PRETTY awesome effects but it does not include Microsoft word and stuff like that no computer includes that unless u build it online if u know what i mean) i chat with my friends 24/7 on AIM

    Heres My Laptop- http://www.shopping.hp.com/series/catego...

PLUS *Most Schools use Microsoft*(so its better for transfer stuff from and to school like power points or reports) and yes Macs are compatible with Microsoft or so i heard but PC are far Better just bcuz ppl think the macs look more modern ppl say there better but PCs are far better for gaming bcuz it more compatible i mean how many times when u go out to buy a game do u see under system requirments  MAC umm NEVER lol unless ur at the apple store  oh and the rumor about Macs not getting Viruses is not true they may get less but if you are protected with a good Virus software like AVG or Norton 360 (srry im kinda jumping topics i just have alot to say) i also think that macs are over priced and all the software for them 2 so anyway hope this helped check this website out for more info http://www.pcauthority.com.au/Feature/92...

oh none of this was copied and pasted lol i jut kno alot about PC's lol best of luck with the new LAptop you chose

  6. Mac...

  7. well to be honest i have a mac and am still a teen well am 19 almost out of it. But mac doesn't have alot of thing for a teen to use, for example the Ami's are very different, yes it has a cam and a mic in it but you can't really play alot of games, is great for school only if you buy the microsoft pack, is very complicated, but is also good because it doesn't get virus, i personally like the mac better then a pc, so i would say a mac

  8. MAC all the way!

I used to have a PC and man they SUCK after having a MAC!

PC are so SLOW and they HAVE SO MANY PROBLEMS!

MAKES ARE SIMPLE, EASY TO USE, SLEEK, FAST, and AWESOME!

No stupid monitor and tower all one piece.

They are easy to move and so forth.

Macs are awesome don't get a PC get a MAC!

    Apple Rocks!

Plus no virusis on a mac!

    LOL.

Hope I helped and get a MAC!

Once you go MAC you'll never go back!

I do online homeschooling for high school and I use Microsoft which includes powerpoint, word, excel, and so forth.

I have not ad any problems sending Microsoft documents to my teacher.  I have a mac they have a PC they are compatible.

Unless you are a  hard core gamer Macs work well for games as well.

The only issue with that is that some games are not made for Mac OS X....

I would not recommend putting windows on a mac since it then opens up the Mac to Viruses.

Its Mac OSX that keeps the viruses away.

    Windows does not...

But it is a good option to keep in mind.

  9. Both!

No, seriously, you can do that. Get a Mac with Leopard (OS 10.5) and use Boot Camp to partition your hard drive. That way, you can dual-boot your computer, running Mac OS X on one partition, and Windows XP (seriously, don't get Vista, it sucks big time) on the other. That way, you have a Mac for the fun stuff like surfing the internet, video chatting with friends, etc. and it works just like a PC in a Mac skin when you want to play games or need to run a Windows-only program.

  10. DUHHHHHHHHHHHH! Mac.

  11. II have a PC, although Macs have more features than a PC if you're into that stuff.

    =]

  12. a PC because more ppl know how to work them and thy r more popular
