  1. It really depends upon the dog, and whether or not they are allergic to chicken or beef.  Be careful- liver contains a LOT of iron, and an overdose can be poisonous to dogs.

Liver shoudl only be fed as a small treat - a couple of freeze dried cubes per day, depending upon the size of your dog.

  2. The answer varies from dog to dog; my dog is allergic to poultry, so I would say beef liver, but chicken could work well for your dog.  If there's no allergy involved, it's just a matter of preference.

  3. Not much but chicken liver seems to be the preferred one in most raw diet

  4. nutrition is the same, and most dogs don;t care which it is....

  5. Both are good. Small amounts tough as river is very rich and will cause loose stools if given in too large of amounts. And no big differences

Both also make great treats and training tools when dehydrated into jerky.

  6. liver is very healthy, but don't give too much:it can cause bad diarrhoea!

My dogs love it(i buy freeze dried liver)
