  1. I agree, none is really better than the other nutrition wise. Though Enfamil professes to be better and the "closest to breastmilk". It really depends on what your BABY prefers.

  2. i used both and i liked enfamil better my sister has 3 kids and she used enfamil with all 3 but try this link maybe it will help

    http://www.buzzle.com/articles/enfamil-v...

  3. I use similac. It is the only formula I used (with some breast milk as well for the first 3 months but I had VERY insufficent milk and 2 babies ) and it was what they were started on in the NICU.

  4. I prefer similac.

  5. Neither one is "better" than the other in terms of nutrition.  It all depends on what your baby can best tolerate.

However, I personally found that Enfamil powder dissolved much better than Similac (which could get clumpy sometimes), so bottles were much easier to mix with Enfamil.

  6. OK, this article is obviously very pro-breastfeeding, but it's the only place I've found that actually compares the ingredients of the different formulas.  Bear with the tone of the article and just scroll down to the charts.

In the end, no formula is better than the other, you just have to find the one that upsets your baby the least.

Haha, Flower.  You just made yourself look silly by not actually reading our answers.  Nice try, though.

  7. They are basically the same, but every baby responds differently, so I suggest trying a small can of one, and switching if there seems to be a problem.  Here's an article I hope helps you make your choice:

**I'm a strong breastfeeding advocate, but I'm not going to get into it.  You'll make your choice regardless of what I say.  If you do wish to read a article comparing breast milk to formula, here it is:

Edit:  LOL at Flwr!!!!!!!!!  If you'd bothered reading the first link I posted, it has nothing to do with breastfeeding, but helps a formula feeding mom choose the best one for her child.   Helloooooo....

And the second link is factual comparisons of breast milk and formula.  If you can't handle unemotional TRUTH, that's pretty immature and pathetic.

  8. Similac has always made my son and my friend's kids sick so I would say Enfamil.

If you go to their websites, they can give you free samples in case you want to test it out.

I do not recommend Good Start though. It made my son really sick and gassy.

Also, Parent's Choice (the walmart brand) Gentle Ease is absolutely great. It's cheap too, and has just as much ingredients and nutrients as the others.

  9. They are both good formulas.  I, personally, use Enfamil Lipil.  My daughter always spit up Similac.

  10. How about you don't answer the question with breastfeeding answers to the people above ^^^^^^^Gah! Use Enfamil if you need to use formula and ignore moronic behavior on this site.
