  1. React .. by ignoring them - and not giving them the satisfaction of even being noticed by you.

  2. it depends on the rude person and how rude he/she was to you....

sometimes rude people only need to get ignored so they get tired of it and hopefully they'll stop

  3. I know what your going through i got haters chasing me all the time.I suggest you do neither a foe only acts rude to get your attention. If you ignore them they won`t feel they have the power to make you feel bad.So other advice is to copy them.it may sound immature. But,i does it`s job.

P.S make the insult refer to them.

  4. Don't make them a foe. Reacting is impulsive. I think it fans the fire more and moreover, wont make u feel good bout urself. Responding comes from a deeper more kinder place. Be kind, say ur truth. And just let them go. Let go of the people who don't do any good for ur soul. But regardless, even people who frustrats us and anger us have much to teach us. We make foes when we have high egos I feel. Become humble (while keeping ur self-respect) & accepting and there are no foes.

  5. Slight difference in the two.  Reacting is an actual action...so you could kick the rude person in the eye or you could respond, which to me is more in words, calling the rude person a twit.  I personally...have a hard time holding my tongue so would probably respond and say something inappropriate but it would make me feel better.
