I want to know which is worse on you the heat or air conditioning? i work at an outside hotel which i am in and out of the rooms but it seems like the air makes me cough. At home we have a window unit which just feels like a fan is on in the heat of the day, but it seems like i can handle the heat a little better at work? Is sitting in the air really good for you if you are outside in heat alot?

  1. Other than bacteria in air conditioning unit as a source, both dry the air.

IMO,  it depends very much on the humidity where you live. Dry air keeps dust and pollen floating in the air. In humid climates the dust and pollen is heavier because of the moisture and drops out of the air reducing the amount you breathe.

But unless you live in a very cold climate the a/c runs far more than heat runs in the winter and lowers the humidity more than heat. So I say the a/c.

  2. air condiotioning

  3. Air conditioning provides a better environment for bacteria than heat. You are talking about 70-80 degrees, F, as opposed to 140 degrees F, for heat. Bacteria loves this. It is the perfect home.

If you provide the perfect starter, growth proliferates. Your job is to prevent this from happening. There are many products on the market to help you. You can simply call your local HVAC supplier, and they will help you.

  4. ac gives me a dry throat and makes me cough

  5. Nope, I think it's probably good for you because it help cool your body down

  6. a/c is better. Make sure that the filters are clean because dust and mold spores may be the cause of your cough

  7. i think the ac is just fine cause it feels so good
