Which is better in the winter: Audi A4 or Mercedes C350; Audi has Quattropro and Mercedes has All-Wheel Drive.

Audi's are too unreliable

expensive to own and repair

MB is not cheap either but has a better repair history.

with snow tires should be fine.

The Mercedes is built like a take and priced like a federal supplier. The Audi is NOT renowned for its transmission reliability, but cost substantially less.

I don't have any experience with Mercedes.

But I own a Audi A4.  The car is really nice and dependable.  But the problem is that it is really expensive to maintain.  The car is also very complex so there's alway high labor hour charge.  And most non-VW/Audi mechanics cannot work on them.

I would NOT buy another Audi - ever.
