It depends on what are you want to do with it

the differences between them are

-the phone

-GPS

-3G

-APN (2 mpx)

-Speakers

So if you don't relly need all that have an iPod touch

with the ipod touch you have music, video, photo, internet, applications and games(hundreads soon thousands!! )...

With the iPhone you have do sign a contract so you'll pay every month... but with the iPod you pay it once and that's it

I prefer the iPod Touch

iphone 3G == monthly bill of about 90$

So , if you already have a phone and dont use GPS and all.... itouch would suit you ....

well....i have an ipod 3rd generation but my best friend has an iphone (which is identical to the ipod touch plus a few extra features).

Hers is DEFINATELY a better device. - way cooler than the basic 3g

i think iTouch..i don't know which to get either but just incase someone steals it then you wouldve have lost both, im going to get iTouch then i can get a separate phone just incase one gets lost
