depends what are you going to be using it for?

each style is very different... each style has its own applications and usages...

krav maga is more tried and true self defense in israel they NEED it for survival... kyokushin and other forms of karate... they are just traditional kata and weapons...

and on the other side...

gung fu can be beautiful and also deadly... there is ground fighting and full contact sparring and forms that are so graceful...

then you have capoeira which is a dance style from brazil but in the hands of a quality capoeirista... its a dangerous fighting art... then there is silat or escrima... you want stick fighting... empty hand what?

krav maga is great for street protection and many of the techniques are for killing in israel... but when krav is taught outside israel its watered down a bit.
