  3. hands down HIIT blows ago long duration cardio it's been proven time and time again through medical study and real world results.  high intensity exercise whether it's cardio or with heavy weights is how you keep the metabolic rate high in the hours after exercise, where the real fat loss takes place not during exercise.

  4. John, I have been training for 20 years and have tried every variation of exercise out there. HIIT is by far the most effective type of cardio to build endurance as well as burn fat and since it is shorter in duration, it does not tear up your muscle gains.
