Which is better medevil total war or medevil total war kingdoms?

be specific which has custom battles which is easier,etc.

Kingdoms is the expansion pack for medieval 2 total war so you'd have to get it first.  And kingdoms isn't exactly "better" it just gives the game a bit more replay value.  Get the game and if you like it, get the expansion later.  Also, the game isnt hard at all once you get the hang of it
