  1. Go to the drug store and watch what pharmacists do most of the time.  If you want to do that 8 hours a day for your career, go for it.  Too much pill counting for me (and yes I know there's more to it).  PT is more interesting if you ask me.  People interaction and consistent rewards as patients recover.  As for studying, my preferences might be the opposite, but school doesn't last decades.

  2. I will confirm that PTs do not, on average make more than pharmacists.  However, PT was recently named one of the top three most satisfying careers.

Yet, you need to ask yourself...do you like working with things or with people?  You will use a lot of problem solving in both professions, but pharmacy is definetely a career that involves less direct contact.

Both are great careers and both are expected to grow in job prospects, but they require totally different skill sets.

  3. Physical therapist make more money.

  4. It all just depends on where your interests are.  PT is a direct patient care occupation.  You will have hands on contact with patients.  Pharmacy is not.  Of course, you will interact with patients, but not in the same way a PT does.  Academically, they are both rigerous courses of study.  Both require a strong science and math background.  However, in general, PT is probably easier academically than pharmacy, especially if you're not very strong in math.  And, no, PT's do not make more money than pharmicists.  A PT makes about 85k per year where a pharmacist generally makes between 90-95k.
