Which is better plasma or lcd digital tv?,,,which is most popular?

I am no expert, but I have heard that LCDs use less energy than Plasmas. Also I heard that LCDs radiate a little less heat than plasmas.  One thing I've noticed is that I don't have a glare on my LCD screen. If I leave the curtain open, the sun will not reflect on my screen.  On plasmas, you see the reflection of the sun and light.  I think you might be able to find a higher resolution and better quality image with plasmas, but with new technology maybe LCDs are just as good. You might want to compare resolutions and see for yourself.  I have a vizio 32 inch in bedroom and a philips 42 inch in living room, and both are LCD's and the HD image on both is superb, very clear, just great images on both.
