Fi, DD, or RE audio?...

I am looking to get either 6 12's, or 8 10's, which do you think will be louder......?...

Fi or DD subs, I am gonna give the subs 1500 rms a piece, and the RE's I am gonna give them 1250 watts a piece.

Whole setup is going in a ported box tuned to about 35hz.

thanks ya'll.

  1. its is up to you. go down to your local car audio shop and ask for a demo. if they dont have any, go onto youtube and type in the brand of the sub and have a look of the different setups and sizes they have. you dont have to get that some tells you to get. it's what your happy with and you like.

    hope this helps you.

  2. you are wasting your time.  Alls I have is 2 12" DD 1012 series, and a rockford t1000.  they are getting about 467 rms each @ 2ohm, and i tell you what, it rattles my walls, every stoplight i stop at, every car within 50 feet of me evileyes me and shakes their head.  It is PLENTY.

  3. RE Audio is definately something to consider. They have many can be beyond amazing..  SX, MX, and x*x

....Although I am unsure why you have chosen on using so many,  especially w/ such intense name's. 2-4 of those, w/ the amount of power you mention using, would be bigger than words could explain!! Those are subs that can Handle Power, so given an extreme amount, would sound better than RMS'ing 6 to 8 of those. As a matter of fact, One of them, in a doubled 1.5 MDF box, possibly even built 20% over specs, would be ridiculous. AND would also amaze friends when seeing the amount of power that coming from 1 can do!

Also, consider TC Sound, if you can find them.

Be sure to check these out too. Treo, Adire, and Mmats.

Youtube is a great place to search and watch things you are interested in, but another is Realm of Excursion.

And stick w/ 12's! Good luck..
