Microsoft flight simulator or flightgear.

i am looking for a flight simulator and want to know which is better.

Flight gear is free, which is a nice thing but i dont care about the price but want a realistic flight simulator.

Google earth is free and has a "secret" flight simulator. Install google earth from here: http://earth.google.com/

I always find microsoft flight sims to be excellent but if money is no option why not just get both since one is free anyway?
