Which is better quailty high definition or blue ray?

can the blue ray player play both types? Can the ps2 also play both types? Whcih is better quality and more popular? Thx

To me, I like them both, but I would have to say blu ray because the picture is so much more crisper. Were as HD almost looks like a really good computerized cartoon. But that's just my opinion. However the HD player is wayyyy cheaper.

No, the ps2 does not play both, the ps3 does.

Blue Ray is the way to go.  From what I understand so far, Blue Ray will play the HD disk as well.
