I'm in a league where you must get 3 WRs and 2 RBs and there are no keepers. I have the 6th pick in odd rounds and 7th pick in even rounds. There are 12 teams in the league. So considering all that which is better to start with in your first 4 rounds...WR WR RB RB in that order or RB WR RB WR in that order....note please don't suggest take a QB because the 2 QBs i want go later on. Thanks for the help

  1. practice mock drafting. i use fantasyfootballcalculator.com.

in this situation, my 7th pick would determine my strategy. if i am lucky enough to get Brady, I would try to get LJ in the 2nd round. However, Jamal Lewis would be the worst RB i would pick before taking a WR. If no RB's better than Jamal are available, I would have to pick a WR. Hopefully, if there was a run on RB's, I would be able to get TO or Brandon Marshall.

Whatever you do, get the best two players you can in the first two rounds, and let the personality of the draft determine your other picks. If there's a run on some position, think carefully about whether you need to grab one of them now or you can wait until later. This year, you need to grab a top WR in the first two rounds, and you can get starting RB's in the 6-8th rounds. Also, there are fewer quality QB's available. You need to get one before the 8th round.

If necessary, take players 1-2 rounds earlier than their ADP. For example, stealing gates or carson palmer in the 4th round is a good move, or grabbing lendale white, earnest graham or thomas jones in the 5th. edgerrin james is often available 6-8th.

  2. I would definatly draft RB's first 2 rounds and in third go with a wr but if you use tight ends and gates or clark was available you could get a leg up on the other teams at that position. wr's a a dime a dozen unlike rb's it all depends on your scoring system. so I would go rb,rb,wr/te,wr

  3. RB WR RB WR

use the handcuff method where you take a teams top two running backs, so when they get injured u dont lose points. however dont pick wide receivers from the same team.

  4. go to cbs sports online and do one of their 12 team mock drafts

  5. rb-rb-wr-wr

  6. Get your RB's first!!!  Although Randy Moss is probably the only exception to that rule.

  7. RB RB WR WR    rb get the most points but are the most often injured

    load up on rb
