  1. NOTT PETSMART. petsmart shields the animal cruelty from its customers, they put all the sick little animals in a back room and just wait for them to die without any vet assistance. They write down what happends every day and just wait for them to die and its very sad. do not buy animals from petsmart.


  2. I think if you wanna buy a hamster go to petcetera. Because they keep healthy pets. If any pet is sick in the store ,so, they have vet in the store. He/she will treat them. They are not cruel like petsmart. And, petco! they suck . I saw a dead hammy in the cage.      

    That'll help!!!! I think!

  3. Check out the condition of the hamies. Are they all alert and happy? Are they curious, and no sign of illnesses? Are there OTHER animals in the shop that are unhealthy? If the others are not healthy, chances are the hamsters aren't very healthy too. Do the pet store helpers treat them correctly? Are the hamies coat silky and smooth, along with clean? Are they eyes bright and alert? Is there bottom clean? Try answering these questions at each pet store. Whichever has a better outcome.....try that. I got my hamie at Petco.     in my opinion i would get a golden hamster from petsmart. This is because once at petco i bought 2 what i thought were females and one was male. Also, because once i saw a dead rat at petco laying in the cage. petsmart has better service and healthier hamster.

  5. I have always liked Petsmart better. I have always bought my hamsters there. I have found Petco to be a little more expensive on some things.

    After reading Kat's answer and watching the video I have changed my mine about PetSmart. Next time I will go to Petco.
