Which is better to use when better movies, Sony DVD-RW or Sony DVD+RW?

I really don't know the difference between the two. Many people say use the DVD+RW but I'm not sure because other people say use DVD-RW. The brand of DVD's I use are Sony only because their quality is great.

I have the HP Artist Edition notebook with LightScribe.

The choice of + or - makes no difference to the video quality.  Neither does the manufacturer.
