hi, i currently have 768kbps internet with verizon for only $25, ive had them for over a year and never had a problem with them at all whatsoever....time warner cable is offering me a 10mbps earthlink internet connection for only $5 more of what im paying with verizon dsl, which would be $30. i called verizon to see what they can offer b4 i cancel with them and they can only offer me 3.0mbps for the same price im paying now. the question is which would be a better choice. if it helps ive had time warner b4 with 1.0mbps and every other week i had my connection lost that would last about 1 or 2 days as opposed to verizon i never even had to pick up the phone to call them for any tech support except for today to inquire about the cancellation. please help, which is better choice?

  1. I'm paying 30 bucks for the 3.0mbps and it is a lot of speed. I recommend you go for that. The 30 bucks you are going to pay for timewarner is only limited for a few months and you will therefore have to pay their regular service amount ($59.95). "After your first 6 months, you will automatically be billed at regular retail rates. Road Runner Premium Service is not available with this offer." (rr.com) (Roadrunner is time warner internet service)

You are better off upgrading to 3.0mbps with verizon. Highest download rates are close to 400kb/s and uploading is splendid too.
