  1. An A340 is bigger. That's all I know, because I usually fly airlines associated with Boeing, not Airbus. Sorry.

  2. The Airbus A340 is bigger.

  3. Well it isn't that easy...there are a couple of models of A330's and A340's.  Click on this link...http://www.airbus.com/en/aircraftfamilie... and this should help you.  I have been on a A330 with Northwest Airlines and it is a great plane.  Northwest does not have the A340 unless it recently came out a month or so ago.  Hope this helps!

  4. In general, the A340 is a bigger plane, although the A330 can be longer and hold more people depending on the version. (see wikipedia links below).

It's a safe airplane, although it really has more to do with the carrier and how well it's maintained than the plane itself.  For specifics on your plane, check out Seatguru (see below).  Just select your airline and the type of plane to see seat layouts.

  5. a330 has 2 engines fits 250-330 passengers....a340 has 4 engines and fits 290-380 passengers..so 340 is bigger but isnt always because the number is higer

  6. A340 is bigger then A330
